Unlike the narrative of " the Three Bears and Goldilocks," where Goldilocks tried sleeping on two beds before she found that the 3rd bed was perfectly for her -- my nickname is Goldilocks, but this isn't a fairytale. This is my hard research to find a substitute, and a TRUE STORY about finding my great latex mattress 40 years back, once I purchased my first sleep.
I used to babysit our neighbor's children, although growing up. She invited me to her home 1 day to recommend I purchase a latex mattress like hers when she learned I'd gotten involved. She pulled the blankets off her kingsize mattress to ensure that she might show me how a mattress had not sagged, and described how a sides and ends were firm after a fantastic timeframe. I wish I really could remember the exact quantity of years she'd explained that she and her husband have been utilizing their bed, but I really do do not forget that as a result of her tiny exhibition, I realized that I needed to get a latex mattress exactly like it although I later found that it'd cost me about twice what the average 'spring' beds were selling for at that time. I remembered that when we had moved south, my mom had ordered much of her furniture from the sales rep in a big furniture retailer in a area. He said that although this bed was not stocked by the retailer, it could be ordered by him, and that I asked him to-order a good latex mattress for me personally "SIGHT UNSEEN."
As we became older my husband and that I slept comfortably without experiencing problems or any cramps, and our freedom is somewhat attributed by us from medicine as well as the health we appreciate for this latex bed! It wasn't until about the 33rd year whenever we realized that the cover was deteriorating and exposing the latex in a couple of locations, therefore we just place it in a mattress cover. Whenever we began seeing body indentations and minor loose, this worked nicely until the 34th year. We began our research to buy another latex mattress like it. I searched online for that same latex mattress manufacturer, but was unhappy to find out that they'd closed their opportunities. A friend suggested we visit a little, regional mattress company in our area whose family had been developing beds for 3 years. I wanted to ensure that he could provide the latex as that of our first latex mattress. I told the dog owner the brand of its company, and I remember him saying, "All latex is the same." He was wrong! Having acquired three beds inside a 3-year time, I believe I am qualified to document: ALL latex is NOT the same!
